Property Assessment
Preparation of Phase I and II environmental assessments for the property -

• Review all leases and other documents to maintain an environmental indemnification.
• Prepare facility Health and safety Plans.
• Oversee geotechnical soil borings including sampling and analysis for chemical and physical parameters.
• Oversee the excavation, transpiration, & the staging , sampling, analyzing, and reporting of all soil excavation projects related to new equipment or floor repairs.
• Prepare Work Plans for all new building and equipment expansion projects to satisfying a Consent Agreement with U.S. EPA and PADEP.

Asbestos / Lead Abatement Supervise Asbestos Abatement crew -

• 14 month removal operation.
• Excavation and removal of unknown drums and asbestos pipe lagging.
• Responsibilities included heavy equipment operation and field supervision.

Agency / Responsible Party Negotiation
Coordination of legal and technical meetings with and between -

• The Nineteen Settling Companies.
• The U.S. EPA,
• The Ohio EPA,
• The Company's remedial prime contractor,
• Review and approve invoices submitted by the Company's remedial prime contractor.
• Review all work Plans and other documents related to the Project,
  • The Remedial Investigation,
  • The Feasibility Study
  • The Record of Decision

UST
Researched, developed and contracted -

• The removal of three (3) 4,000 gallon underground fuel oil storage tanks.
• The underground storage tanks were removed,
• Then replaced with one (1) diked, 9,000 gallon above ground storage tank.
• Over pressure shut off valves and other safe guards for pumping fuel oil were incorporated in the design.

Industrial Services
Designed and implemented -

Installation of new tube mill facility including:
• Plant layout, buildings,
• Weld plants,
• Handling equipment,
• Ultrasonic testing equipment,
• Straightening and cutting equipment,
• And ancillary equipment such as compressor air and cooling water systems.

Installation of complete Titanium Melting Shop including
• Buildings,
• Overhead cranes,
• Vacuum arc furnaces,
• Copper crucible cleaning machine,
• Vacuum weld chamber,
• Vacuum pumps,
• Cooling water systems,
• Compressed air systems,
• Concrete furnace bunkers and foundations.

SITE CHARACTERIZATION / REMEDIATION

Site charecterization and remediation of -

• Mixed wastes from the uranium mill operation,
  
• Demolition and decontamination of process equipment,
  
• Removal and eventual on-site burial in the tailings pile,
  
• Budget management as well as project management.
  

• Site sampling and charecterization of mixed wastes from a uranium mill operation,
  
• Draining and containerizing of mechanical fluids from mill equipment,
  
• Decontamination and demolition of yellow cake ovens,
  
• Remediation of chemical process vats,

Environmental Health and Safety oversite at a Department of Energy Decommissioning Project -

• Sampling and waste profiles for mixed wastes leading to disposal,
  
• Routine safety and industrial hygiene monitoring,
  
• Environmental evaluations of contaminated debris to meet off-site disposal site's waste acceptance criteria,
  
• Modifications and revisions to RCRA Part B Permit for mixed and PCB wastes,
  
• Field supervision, sampling, and reporting in support of free-release of areas and equipment,
