Commercial and Industrial Property Evaluations
Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments
Our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, chemists, geologists and regulatory specialists can rapidly provide the
expertise and experience to meet our clients' needs. THG has conducted environmental site investigations across the
North Central States and Great Lake States, as well as, the Northeast. Our Phase I Assessments are performed using
the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.
Site Restoration
THG develops contamination assessments and remedial action plans to facilitate cleanup of properties prior to the loan application process.
We have developed a three-phased approach to site evaluations in order to minimize initial costs and to give the client an opportunity
to reconsider his needs at an early stage. Phase I (initial site overview) consists of records review, visual site inspection,
interviews with knowledgeable parties and limited sampling. If any evidence of spilled or buried waste, asbestos, groundwater
contamination or regulatory non-compliance is discovered, a plan for further investigation of the unacceptable condition is
proposed as Phase II. The assessment compiles previously obtained data and develops a remedial action plan to correct problem
areas in the most cost effective manner.
Preliminary Evaluations
THG conducts preliminary evaluations to minimize initial costs and give the client the opportunity to reconsider their needs at an
early stage. Members of our staff have AHERA certifications that allow us to offer a full range of asbestos management services.
THG also offers lead inspection and risk assessment by certified personnel.
Sampling and Analysis
THG develops and implements sampling and analysis programs, should a preliminary assessment indicate a potential contamination problem.
